Mother’s Day Yoga: Nurturing the Soul

Celebrate Mother’s Day in a serene and rejuvenating atmosphere with our special yoga class designed for mothers, pet parents, and anyone seeking to cultivate their nurturing side. Held at Vino Di Piccin and led by Heather Eddy, this class offers a unique opportunity for bonding, self-care, and inner exploration.

Class Structure:

Opening: Begin the session by grounding ourselves, allowing participants to connect with their breath and set intentions for the practice.

Gentle Warm-up: Ease into the practice with gentle stretches and movements, focusing on releasing tension in the body and preparing for deeper asanas.

Heart-Centered Asanas: Flow through a series of heart-opening yoga poses, such as chest openers, to cultivate a sense of love, compassion, and gratitude towards oneself and others.

Nurturing Restorative Yoga: Sink into deep relaxation with restorative yoga poses supported by props, allowing participants to surrender tension and stress, and tap into their innate capacity for nurturing and self-care.

Closing Circle: Conclude the session with a brief reflection, sharing gratitude for the nurturing energy within ourselves and our communities, and setting intentions to carry this sense of love and compassion beyond the yoga mat.

Additional Details:

All yoga classes will be held on days that the winery is closed to the public to allow for a little extra self care and serenity! 

Price for each class is $30 and includes a glass of your choice of wine or slushy (excludes Reserve Wines).

All Levels Welcome: Whether you’re an experienced yogi or stepping onto the mat for the first time, this class is open to practitioners of all levels.

Community Building: Connect with like-minded individuals and build meaningful connections with fellow participants who share a commitment to self-care and a love of wine.

Heather Eddy Bio:
Heather Eddy has been practicing yoga for nearly 20 years and has been a licensed teacher for almost 10. She believes yoga can help calm the mind and create flexibility in both the mind and body. Her approach is to help others live active lives and create serenity. Heather received her YTT-200 in Portland, Oregon with a Bhakti Yoga focus. Bhakti is one of the four main paths of yoga, focusing on cultivating a deep sense of devotion and love through a variety of practices including asanas (movement), pranayama (breath), and meditation. She ran four yoga studios and a teacher training program at the People’s Yoga in Portland. She has returned home to the Ohio Valley and wants to share the gift of yoga with her community.
